Organising an event shouldn't feel harder than running one.
You know what race week feels like. Last-minute dropouts. Mixed messages from volunteers. Runners asking questions you've already answered twice. The inbox that refills faster than you can empty it. Every organiser knows this chaos. Most just accept it. We didn't.

We didn't set out to build a product. We set out to stop losing sleep before race week.
ADVNTM was forged inside Beyond the Ultimate and The Spine Races, two creators of the world's hardest endurance events. Independent organisers delivering iconic races. The tools available to them weren't built for this. So they built their own. What started as internal systems became something bigger. Other organisers saw what they'd built and asked if they could use it. That's how ADVNTM started. Not as a startup. As a fix.
If it works at The Spine, it works at your event.
Events like The Spine Race and Beyond the Ultimate don't leave room for things to go wrong. Race weeks stretch small teams across hundreds of volunteers, thousands of runners, and multiple continents, all at once. ADVNTM was built to hold all of that together. The same system, the same tools, now available to any independent organiser ready to stop patching things together.

We believe the best events are independent. Lean teams need sharper tools to keep
outrunning the corporates.
Simple. Flexible. Human.
ADVNTM is not one product. It's a way of solving problems. Sometimes that means a quick fix: a broken form sorted in a day. Sometimes it means rebuilding an entire workflow. Whatever the scale, we build tools that work together, not against you. Use what you need today. Add more when your event demands it.
Modular by design
Quick fix or full system. ADVNTM tools work together, not against you. Use one piece today, add more when the pressure builds. Nothing is locked behind a package you don't need.
Practical, not rigid
Every feature was shaped by real event experience, not a product roadmap. The result is software that adapts to how you actually work, not the other way round.
People who care
Behind the technology are organisers who've stood in the mud, managed the chaos, and built the tools to tame it. When you call, you talk to someone who understands.
Your event shouldn't need a corporate budget to run like one.
The same infrastructure that powers multi-stage desert races and arctic ultras is now available to any independent organiser. No six-figure contracts. No consultants. Just proven systems you can plug in today and build on tomorrow.

Beyond the Ultimate
The logistics have to be bulletproof. ADVNTM gave us the structure to coordinate four global races without losing the personal touch that defines what we do.
Who built ADVNTM?
ADVNTM was built in 2020 by the team behind The Spine Race and Beyond the Ultimate after acquiring both event series and finding no existing platform fit for multi-day endurance operations. The founding team combines race directing (Phil Hayday-Brown, Kris King), strategic operations (Archi Stewart, Crawford Strategic), brand (Simon Davies, Makalu Agency), and engineering (Evgeny Romanov, Intellimatic; Matthew Williamson, Kaluna).
When was ADVNTM built and why?
ADVNTM was created in 2020 following the acquisition of Beyond the Ultimate and The Spine Race by Kris King, Simon Davies, and Archi Stewart. After reviewing the business requirements against every available race management platform, the team concluded that no existing product could handle the operational complexity of multi-day, multi-continent endurance events. ADVNTM was built to fill that gap.
What events use ADVNTM?
ADVNTM currently powers The Spine Race (268-mile Pennine Way ultra marathon, UK), The Desert Ultra, The Ice Ultra, The Jungle Ultra, and The Mountain Ultra (the Beyond the Ultimate expedition race series), The Highland Ultra, ForRangers Ultra, and Global Expedition Medics. As of April 2026, the platform has managed over 20,000 runners across more than 50 events on four continents.
